Erika Drummond 
has been teaching music in Eastern Greene Schools for over 20 years.  In those years she has brought music to the lives of thousands of students.  In addition to teaching, she is active in the adult choir and children’s ministry at her church.  Erika has also served as principal oboist for the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra.  Mrs. Drummond holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Truman State University and a Master’s of Arts for Teachers with an emphasis on Music Education from Indiana University.  She is a member of the Music Educators National Conference, Indiana Music Education Association and the Indiana Chapter of the Orff Schulwerk Association.

Mrs.Drummond lives in Solsberry with her husband Rob and their two children.  Her son Andy graduated from Eastern Greene and is attending Harvard where he sings in its top A Capella choir and studies Organic Chemistry. Her daughter Emily is a sophomore at Eastern Greene where she plays the violin in the HS Orchestra, serves on the Riley Dance Marathon Committee, manages several athletic teams, and enjoys dancing on the HS Dance Team!
