Ms. Lehmann - AG

Hello My Name Is...

Ms. Cassie Lehmann

I am super excited to head the Agriculture classes at Eastern Greene High School. This year I will be teaching the following courses:

8th Grade Introduction to Agriculture (1st Period)
Animal Science (3rd Period)
Agribusiness Management (4th Period)
Agriculture Mechanics (5th Period)
Landscape Management (6th Period)
Introduction to Agriculture (7th Period)

I am also ecstatic to be the advisor for Eastern Greene FFA! I was in FFA all throughout high school and have had my own chapter for the past three years before moving to Eastern to take over the program here! Check out our calendar to see upcoming events! (With COVID-19 currently the calendar may seem a little thin. We hope to get this year up and running as soon as we can!)

I graduated from Purdue University as a Dean's Scholar Certificate Completer in 2017 with my bachelor degree in Agriculture Education and minors in Animal Science, Crop Science, and Horticulture. While at Purdue I was the President of Collegiate 4-H for two years, as well as other various officers for different organizations.

I now reside in Cloverdale, Indiana with my 21 animals! I have three wonderful dogs to call my kids - Caliber (German Shepherd), Calloway (Cowboy Corgi), and Callaloo/Loo (Beagle). I also have a cat named Callie, a bearded dragon named Calen, an axolotyl named Axel, a teddy bear hamster named Yar-Yar, various aquarium fish, two Betta fish named Bob and Kevin, and four yellow belly slider turtles named Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael.

I have ridden horses since a young age and still own my first horse, Buck, who is an American Quarter Horse. He currently resides at my parents farm in Spencer, Indiana where he is enjoying retirement.
