Rob Drummond has been the director of choir and orchestra at Eastern Greene Middle and High Schools since the Fall of 2001. Upon arrival, there were 28 total students in the choir program and only 8 total students in the orchestra program. Today, Eastern Greene boasts a thriving program with four orchestras numbering over 110 students and two choirs with over 65 students. Eastern Greene groups continually do well at ISSMA organizational contest as well as solo and ensemble contest and other performances. We continually strive to maintain a tradition of excellence at Eastern Greene.

Mr. Drummond’s undergraduate degrees are a Bachelor of Music in Tuba Performance (’96) and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Teaching (’96) from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. He currently holds a Masters of Music degree in Tuba Performance (’99) and a Masters in Arts for Teachers degree (’99) from Indiana University. Mr. Drummond is also the long time worship leader at University Baptist Church in Bloomington, IN. 

Rob Drummond is a very active musician, having performed with the Southern Indiana Wind Ensemble, Bloomington Symphony Orchestra, Bloomington Brass Band, and Bloomington Brass Quintet.
