WELCOME TO EASTERN GREENE SCHOOLS!
~ HOME OF THE MIGHTY THUNDERBIRD ~
Our Mission:
Eastern Greene Schools provides challenging standards and a safe environment, where all students learn and grow to be caring, responsible, life long learners.
At Eastern Greene, we believe in challenging our students to achieve their personal best each day. We seek to center those efforts around the ideas of the 4Cs--Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, and Creative Thinking. Our classrooms promote these concepts in the curriculum and the activities designed for our students. In doing so, our students produce outstanding accomplishments throughout our district in academics, community involvement in learning, extra-curricular activities, and comprehensive student preparation for life after high school. Our hope is that our students make a difference not only while in school, but also well beyond. Please take a moment to read the superintendent's message for more about our schools!
We salute our student scholars and all of our faculty and staff for making Eastern Greene Schools a warm and welcoming community in which to learn, grow, and give one's #thunderbirdbest !

Please read this important change from the CDC regarding covid testing:
Rapid covid tests are no longer considered acceptable by themselves. If a person is symptomatic they must have a PCR test. If they have a negative rapid test they will not be allowed back in school until they complete a 10 day isolation, OR they have a PCR test and it is negative OR they have a different diagnosis from the doctor. The best thing to do if you go to get tested or you take your student to get tested is to make sure you get the PCR test. If the PCR test is negative the student can return as soon as their symptoms resolve.
