Seventh grade is a year where students start to leave childhood behind and step into adolescence.   To aid with this, we focus on developing skills like independence, time management, and responsibility to help prepare students for their high school career and beyond.

Major topics addressed this year include percents and algebra in math with Mrs. Goodwin, argumentative writing and poetry in language arts with Ms. Noe, early civilizations and world religions in social studies with Mr. Hudson, and chemistry and human body systems in science with Ms. Clary.  A goal of the 7th grade team is to help students feel more confident in their knowledge of the world and their place in it.

We encourage students and parents/guardians to look at the weekly homework calendar (see link on the left).   We also encourage students and parents/guardians to check grades frequently on Harmony (see link in the grey bar above).   Please contact the teachers if you have any questions this year!
