District Reopening

In This Together

Please read this important change from the CDC regarding covid testing:

Rapid covid tests are no longer considered acceptable by themselves.  If a person is symptomatic they must have a PCR test.  If they have a negative rapid test they will not be allowed back in school until  they complete a 10 day isolation, OR  they have a PCR test and it is negative OR they have a different diagnosis from the doctor.  The best thing to do if you go to get tested or you take your student to get tested is to make sure you get the PCR test.  If the PCR test is negative the student can return as soon as their symptoms resolve.

During these uncertain times, we are working hard and listening to our community to decide how to re-open our schools for the 2020-2021 school year.  We understand every family has many important decisions to make and we appreciate the community's input to create our Eastern Greene School Reopening Plan.

Use this portion of our website to find up-to-date information about our district's plan, answers to questions you may have, and other important information we can provide you.

We appreciate your continued support, Thunderbirds!
