Our simple but powerful goal is to produce students who know how to use their minds well. 

While aligned with Indiana Standards, we focus on helping students learn to use their minds well, emphasize depth over breadth to instill mastery of subject matter, personalize our teaching for our students and stress high expectations while fostering a safe, secure environment in which students feel empowered to learn. 

We ask ourselves: How can we encourage students, as they engage in their learning, to embrace challenge and complexity, take initiative, consider other perspectives, speculate and experiment, innovate and be bold? It is important that we help them grow academically, psychologically and emotionally to be better prepared to continue their education in the future.  

We focus first and foremost on the relationship between teacher and student, and the academic disciplines that bring them together. Small classes allow students to receive personal attention from a talented, enthusiastic faculty. We place special emphasis on encouraging curiosity, critical thinking and civic virtue. 

The arts are at the heart of our schools. Eastern Greene continues to demonstrate its commitment to both visual and performing arts by giving students not just options, but an outlet that will allow them to explore areas other than our main academic disciplines.  In turn, this will make a more diverse and well-rounded student.  

Students are encouraged to spread their wings and expand their minds through a variety of STEAM activities. What we learn outside the classroom is just as important as what we learn inside. 

Eastern Greene Elementary School fosters a love of language and develops voracious readers through an instructional focus and exciting activities that encourage students to read voluminous amounts of material across a wide variety of genres. Students use flashlights, garden beds, baseballs and even the teacher as math tools, fostering an interactive curriculum designed to make math come alive for all styles of learners. 

Eastern Greene Middle School believes that students in our school should feel loved and cared about. It is our responsibility to provide a safe environment for them to work in on a daily basis while keeping kindness at the center of all we do. By doing this, the learning piece will come much easier for our students. Our teachers are here not only to teach curriculum and state standards, but to be nurturing individuals that provide soft skills and life skills to our students. This will hopefully allow our students to be resilient when they need to, well-rounded and also successful in this ever changing world.

Eastern Greene High School is a comprehensive public high school that is dedicated to providing a top-quality education to students in the Eastern Greene School Corporation. The school has a strong academic focus, with a particular emphasis on Advanced Placement (AP) and dual credit opportunities that challenge students to achieve their highest potential.

Eastern Greene High School offers a wide range of AP courses in a variety of subjects, including mathematics, science, English and social studies among others. These courses are designed to prepare students for college-level work and provide them with the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. Additionally, the school has a strong dual credit program that allows students to earn both high school and college credit for courses taken at the high school.

The school is also committed to fostering strong relationships between staff and students. Teachers at Eastern Greene High School take the time to get to know their students on a personal level and are dedicated to helping them succeed both academically and personally. The school also provides a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports, clubs, and community service opportunities, that allow students to build relationships with their peers and develop their interests outside of the classroom.
